Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ThinkNCollab ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
Description of Services
ThinkNCollab provides a collaborative platform for developers and teams to work together on projects through dedicated rooms. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Real-time collaboration tools and project rooms
- File sharing and version control via the platform and
thinkncollab-shellCLI - Task management and team workspace features
- Code editing, review, and commenting features
- Notification system and team activity feeds
- Integration capabilities with development tools
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice.
User Responsibilities
As a user of ThinkNCollab, you agree to:
- Use the Platform lawfully and in accordance with these Terms
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and
.tncrctoken file - Not engage in any disruptive or malicious activity that may harm the Platform or other users
- Not share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Platform
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without express permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Upload content containing malware, viruses, or destructive code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or connected servers and networks
- Share, expose, or commit your
.tncrcauthentication file to public repositories
Account Registration
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction)
- Use a valid email address that you have the right to use
- Not create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission
You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ThinkNCollab and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Platform for personal or professional use only. You may not:
- Resell or commercially use the Platform without our express written consent
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Platform
- Use data mining, robots, or similar tools on the Platform
- Republish or distribute Platform content without authorization
User Content & Room Collaboration
ThinkNCollab enables collaboration through dedicated rooms where users can share files, code, and other content.
- You are solely responsible for the content you post in rooms
- You represent and warrant that you own or have necessary rights to any content you share
- Content shared in private rooms should be treated as confidential by room members
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms
- Managing room membership and permissions appropriately
- Ensuring room content complies with these Terms
- Not sharing sensitive or proprietary information without proper authorization
- Respecting intellectual property rights of others in collaborative spaces
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Platform will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and any associated data
- Your
thinkncollab-shellCLI token will be revoked - You remain responsible for any obligations that arose prior to termination
You may terminate your account at any time via account settings or by contacting us. Provisions covering ownership, warranty disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ThinkNCollab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues resulting from:
- Your access to or inability to access or use the Platform
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
- Loss of data resulting from CLI push/pull operations via
thinkncollab-shell
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before new terms take effect via email or in-app notification.
By continuing to use the Platform after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
If you are accessing the Platform from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent that local laws are applicable.
